Man appears in court after over £120k worth of drugs found in Stockton

A man has appeared in court in connection with the discovery of over £120,000 worth of drugs from a property in Stockton-on-Tees.

Cleveland Police made the find after they attended an incident in Billingham on Thursday (January 30th), where they discovered £123,000 worth of drugs.

Alongside the narcotics, officers found a host of drug paraphernalia, as well as copious amounts of money in the building.

Following their lines of enquiry, a 38-year-old man was arrested by police and soon charged with five counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

On top of this, he was also charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs and one count of possession with intent to supply Class C drugs.

The man was remanded into police custody, and appeared at Teesside Magistrates' Court on Saturday (February 1st).

Following his appearance in court, the man was once again brought back into police custody to appear again in court at a later date.
