Police arrest a 49-year-old man following a raid in Thornaby
A warrant has been executed at a property on Briar Road by officers from Stockton’s neighbourhood policing team.
During a search of the property – which took place on the morning of Monday 23 February – police discovered a large amount of cannabis along with cash and mobile phones.
A 49-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs. He was taken to custody to be questioned and has since been released on police bail.
Acting Sergeant Henrieta Thompson, from Stockton’s neighbourhood policing team, said:
“This warrant comes from information that has been provided to us from the local community.
“I hope it shows how committed we are to stamping out drug related serious and organised crime in your neighbourhood, and we’ll continue to build on the information you provide to keep taking this action."
