Road closure after early morning A19 collision

A serious collision on the A19 near Knayton (between Thirsk and Osmotherley) has led to a road closure.

The incident happened at around 2.15am this morning.

The road is currently closed in both directions, north- and south-bound, and is likely to remain so all morning.
