Ninja Warrior UK Teesside Turns One – Beat the Wall This Sunday!
Over 127,000 visitors have taken on the legendary Warped Wall since Ninja Warrior opened in July 2024
It’s been one year since the iconic Warped Wall landed in Teesside, and in that time, thousands of wannabe ninjas have taken on the “beat the wall” challenge, tackled the courses and put their skills to the test. Now, as Ninja Warrior UK Teesside celebrates its first birthday on Sunday 27th July, the question is: Can you still beat the Wall?
Inspired by ITV’s hit show, Ninja Warrior UK, the Teesside venue opened its doors back in July 2024 and quickly became the go-to destination for thrill seekers, families and fitness fans from across the region.
From fearless toddlers and determined adults, the course has drawn in visitors of all ages, including celebrities such as Ben Shepherd and Chris Kamara. The park has also built a fantastic relationship with Middlesbrough Football Club, regularly welcoming players and staff and proudly partnering with the MFC Foundation to support young people through work experience.
The Warped Wall has earned its place as Teesside’s ultimate fitness challenge with almost 125,000 successful climbs recorded to date. Now, past participants are being invited to come back and beat their time, conquer the wall or try the full course again with fresh determination.
To mark its first birthday, Ninja Warrior UK Teesside will host a day of celebrations on Sunday 27th July, including a Spin to Win prize wheel with a range of prizes up for grabs, including free sessions and discounts to exclusive merchandise.
David Kaminski at Leisure TV Rights Ltd, the company behind the Teesside venue, said: “We’ve had an incredible first year at Ninja Warrior UK Teesside. From families discovering the course for the first time to regulars returning week after week, it’s been amazing to watch the local community embrace everything we stand for - fun, fitness and a bit of friendly competition. The Warped Wall has become a real local legend, everyone knows someone who has tried it, beaten it, or vowed to come back and do better next time! This birthday celebration isn’t just about looking back at a brilliant first year, it’s a chance for everyone who’s visited to return, take on the challenge again and push for a personal best.”
The venue features:
• Two fixed obstacle courses
• A giant inflatable zone with tunnels, battle towers and climbing challenges
• A dedicated under-4’s inflatable course
