Man charged in connection with incident on Collingham Drive in Middlesbrough

A 42-year-old man is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday 10th September) after being charged with possession of a firearm and arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered.

The charge relates to an incident on Collingham Drive in Middlesbrough in the early hours of Thursday 15th May.

He was charged and remanded in custody to appear at court today.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and arson with intent to endanger life and he was bailed with conditions.

A 47-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to possess a firearm and conspiring to commit arson with intent to endanger life and he was bailed with conditions.
