Man charged with number of house burglaries

A man has been charged in connection with a series of attempted and actual house burglaries in Middlesbrough.
Just after 9.35pm on Thursday police received a report of a man trying a number of house doors in various streets in the Ayresome area.
A a 33-year-old man was arrested on Friday evening.
He was questioned and later charged with one count of burglary and two counts of attempted burglary and was remanded overnight until his court appearance this morning from where he was further remanded.
