Man charged with attempted murder in Middlesbrough

It follows an alleged incident on Marton Road

A man has been charged with attempted murder following a reported stabbing incident in Middlesbrough.

The alleged incident happened around 3:30am on Wednesday (15th April) at an address on Marton Road.

A 58-year-old man suffered multiple stab wounds and was treated in hospital before being released.

Two women, aged 23 and 28, were arrested and remain on police bail on suspicion of assisting an offender.

A 31-year-old man is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court on Thursday (16th April).
