Investigation ongoing to determine cause of fire in Raby Road home

Police are collaborating with Cleveland Fire Brigade to investigate a fire at a home on Raby Road in Hartlepool, which resulted in serious injuries to a 42-year-old woman.

The fire broke out around 4:40 pm on 10th March and the woman was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary via air ambulance, where she remains receiving treatment for her injuries.

Authorities are working to establish the circumstances surrounding the blaze and are appealing to anyone with CCTV or dash cam footage, as well as anyone who was in the vicinity at the time, to come forward.

Witnesses and those with relevant footage are urged to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 045288.

The investigation is ongoing as police and fire brigade continue to probe the incident.
