Four people arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft

Four people have been arrested after police received reports that a vehicle had been stolen from a property in Thornaby.

Cleveland police said:

"One 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of drug driving, failing to stop, dangerous driving and burglary.

Another 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and theft whilst a third 16-year-old was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.

A 14-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and possession of a Class B drug. All four remain in police custody at this time."
