Family pays tribute to 49-year-old man killed in Stockton

Three men charged with murder set to appear in court

The family of David Cuthbert, who died on 10th January, has paid tribute to the 49-year-old in a heartfelt statement, describing him as a "kind and loving" man with a "heart of gold."

David died following an incident on Egglescliffe Close in Hardwick.

His family said:

"David was a kind, loving, fun man with a heart of gold. Always smiling and making people laugh, he would light up a room in seconds.

"David was loved by so many and would do anything for anyone.

"We as a family are so grateful for the love and support we are receiving. And even more so thankful to Cleveland Police.

"All our hearts are broken. We all love you so much David."

According to Cleveland Police, three men—two aged 18 and one aged 19—have been charged with murder.

They have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court on 13th January.

David's family are being supported by officers from Cleveland Police's Homicide and Major Enquiry Team.
