The family of Vicky Glass, who was tragically murdered 26 years ago, continue to seek answers and justice for her death.

Vicky was last seen around 4am on Union Street in Middlesbrough on 24th September 2000.

Her body was later found in a stream in Danby, North Yorkshire, on 3rd November 2000, just days after her 21st birthday.

Despite several arrests over the years, including the arrest of a 65-year-old man in June 2026, no charges have been brought forward.

The man remains on police bail.

Police are appealing for anyone with information regarding Vicky's whereabouts from her last sighting to when her body was found.

Her family's grief remains profound as they express ongoing pain not only for Vicky but also for the future memories stolen from them.

They urge anyone with information, no matter how small, to come forward to help resolve the case.

Detective Chief Inspector Steve Chatterton, heading the investigation, has echoed the family's plea for information that may assist in solving the case.
