A Durham dog owner and her Labrador have won a spot at the UK's most famous dog show.
Sabina Wallace-King from Durham, and her Labrador Retriever, Coymans Piper Jack Flash AW(G) (Mac), have won the Crufts Intermediate Novice ABC (Anything but Collie) semi-final, qualifying the pair for the final in March, held at Crufts 2025, the world’s greatest dog show, run by The Kennel Club.
Sabina and Mac will be heading to Crufts after being crowned in the semi-final, hosted by The Kennel Club and sponsored by Agria, as part of The London International Horse Show at ExCeL London on Sunday 22 December. The judge this year was Leslie Osborne.
Proud handler Sabina said of her achievement with Mac: “I am so excited and happy that we are going to Crufts.”
Catherine Guiver, Head of Events at The Kennel Club, said: “Well done to all competing dogs and their handlers for showing great skill in the London Arena.
“Huge congratulations to both Sabina and Mac, and we wish them the best of luck at Crufts 2025.”
The Crufts semi-final consisted of two rounds, a jumping round and an agility round.
