Three men injured in motorcycle collision in Stockton

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving

Police are appealing for information after a 23-year-old man was seriously injured in a collision on Darlington Road in Stockton, yesterday (1 November).

The collision between two motorbikes, a Honda CRF 100 and a Triumph, happened shortly before 1:30pm in Hartburn.

The road was closed for over six hours whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.

The 23-year-old man riding the Honda suffered serious head injuries and was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees.

The two men, aged 22 and 24, riding the Triumph sustained multiple minor injuries and cuts, along with both of them suffering suspected broken legs.

They were both taken to the University Hospital of North Tees for treatment and both arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
