Cleveland Police warn social media users over hoax
Cleveland Police say there's a hoax on social media about a missing officer in Middlesbrough.
A post has been circulating for a few days now but the force say it's fake and ask people not to share it.
A spokesperson for the force told us:
"We are aware of posts circulating across social media claiming to be about a missing female police officer in Middlesbrough.
This is a hoax post that has been repeated across the country. No officer has been reported missing and we would ask that people do not share the post on their social media."
