Seven-year-old boy injured in Middlesbrough collision

Police received a report of a collision around 2:55pm yesterday, Thursday 21st August, on Westminster Road in Middlesbrough.

A seven-year-old boy has been taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary following the collision involving a motorbike.

The rider left the scene of the collision and multiple enquiries are ongoing including CCTV and other enquiries. The boy is currently in a stable condition whilst receiving treatment.

Two men aged 19 and 21 have been arrested in connection with the incident and will be questioned by police.
