Armed police called to deal with 'aggressive' dog in Stockton

Armed police have responded after reports of a dog which had become aggressive and bitten two people in Stockton.

The animal was found tied to railings on Grangefield Road around 6:40am today (27 September.

There were no serious injuries reported.

At around 9:45am, officers were able to remove the dog safely and it has now been taken to kennels.
