Two Armed Forces members arrested over sexual assault allegations

Two members of the Armed Forces have been arrested following allegations of sexual assault at Catterick Garrison.

A Ministry of Defence spokesperson said: “Two members of the Armed Forces have been arrested following an investigation by the Defence Serious Crime Command.

"As the matter is subject to an ongoing investigation, we will not comment further.”

The DSCC was established in April 2022 and ensures operational independence and professionalisation in its serious crime investigations.
