Andy's Man Club is marking 10 years of saving the lives of men across the Tees Valley.

The suicide prevention charity offers free support in places like Middlesbrough, Darlington, Hartlepool, Redcar and Stockton.

Its aim is to break the stigma surrounding men's mental health using the power of conversation.

Oliver Vikse now works for the charity after his life saved by them: "We'd love to live in a world where Andy's Man Club didn't exist and guys were just having these conversations in the pub, in the changing rooms, wherever it might be. But until we get to that point, we'll keep driving this mission forward and we'll make sure that every man's got a safe place to talk.

"The aim of Andy's Man Club is to help people before they reach that point of crisis, give them somewhere to go on a weekly basis where they can just unload anything that's happened that week or anything that's happened building up to that before they reach that critical point."
