Two in critical condition after Brechin crash
Police are appealing for information
Two men are in a critical condition in Ninewells Hospital, and two other people were injured in a crash on the A935 on Friday evening.
Police were called to the road between Montrose and Brechin near the Bridge of Dun at around 5.25pm on 28 August, after the crash between an Audi A6 and a Volkswagen Polo.
The 56 year old man driving the Audi was taken by air ambulance to Ninewells, where staff described his condition as critical.
A 14 year old girl who was a passenger in the Audi was taken to hospital to be checked over.
The 19 year old man driving the Polo and his 20 year old male passenger were both taken to Ninewells Hospital where staff say the former is also in a critical condition, while the latter is stable.
Police appeal
Sergeant Iain McNamara said: "Our enquiries are continuing into the crash and I would appeal to anyone who witnessed it take place or who was in the area at the time to contact us with any information.
"Any drivers with dash-cam footage are asked to check it as it could have captured images which could assist our enquiries."
