Two people arrested after a woman was seriously injured in a crash near the Swindon Designer Outlet have been released on bail.

Emergency services were called to Rodbourne Road, in the early house of the morning on Tuesday (June 9).

The injured woman is being treated in hospital for life changing injuries.

A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of a road traffic collision, and causing serious injury by dangerous driving while a 28-year-old woman was been arrested on suspicion of "linked offences."

Police confirmed Yesterday (June 11) that both suspects had been released on conditional bail.

Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses to come forward.
