Swindon Town FC have announced changes to the club's ownership which they say will help secure it's long-term future.

A restructuring means one investment group, Axis Football Investments, now has 100% ownership of the club, and Swinton Reds 20 and Seebeck 87 have been removed from the ownership structure.

Charmain Clem Morfuni remains the sole owner of the club and continues to personally hold all club debt, which currently stands at £10.6 million.

Swindon Town have said this demonstrates "his unwavering commitment to the financial support and future" of the club.

It added that the new ownership model will provide clarity, stability and a stronger foundation for the club both on and off the pitch.
