Trigger warning - suicide

A man will appear in court next month charged with manslaughter following the death of his wife.

34-year-old Tarryn Baird called the police before taking her own life at her home in Swindon on 28th November 2017.

Her partner, 42-year-old Christopher Trybus, of Swindon, is charged with manslaughter, two counts of rape, and controlling or coercive behaviour in an intimate or family relationship.

He appeared in front of Poole Magistrates' Court yesterday (4th February), and only spoke to confirm his details.

He remains on unconditional bail until his appearance at Bournemouth Crown Court on 6th March.

An inquest into Ms Baird's death has been put on hold pending a police investigation.
