Police respond to 'serious incident' in Tidworth

Police are responding to a "serious incident" in Tidworth.

Officers were first called to the scene in Oak Close last night (9 July).

We're told there's no danger to the public - but people are being urged to avoid the area.

In a statement, Amesbury Police said: "Police are responding to a serious ongoing incident in Oak Close, Tidworth.

"There is no danger to the public but we would urge people to avoid the area.

"We will issue a further update when appropriate."
