Police have launched an appeal for information to help trace three men wanted in connection with a serious stabbing in Trowbridge.

The suspects have been named as Redouane Bendhiyaf, 47, Dion Barrett, 50, and Joshua Galbraith, 35, all of whom are believed to have links to the town.

The incident happened shortly before 2pm on Saturday, 31 October, when three men allegedly targeted a victim close to the car park at Tesco Extra on County Way. The suspects are then believed to have fled the scene.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital, where he remains receiving treatment for injuries described by police as potentially life-changing.

Wiltshire Police say enquiries are continuing and residents can expect to see an increased police presence in the area while officers work to establish the whereabouts of the three wanted men.

Detective Sergeant Jonathan Dean, from Central CID, said the investigation was progressing quickly and urged anyone with information to come forward.

He warned members of the public not to approach the suspects if they see them, but instead to contact police immediately with any information that could help locate them.
