We're told Manchester Road is closed, and is likely to stay that way for a few hours.

In a statement, Swindon Police said: "We are currently dealing with a serious incident in Manchester Road.

"The road is closed and is likely to remain closed for several hours."

A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) told us: “We were called at 05:12hrs on Wednesday 02 July to an incident in Swindon.
