Police appeal for CCTV footage after burglary in Swindon
Investigators say the incident took place at approximately 5.15pm on Friday 5th December, at a property on Homington Avenue
Police are appealing for CCTV and doorbell camera footage following a burglary in the Coate area of Swindon.
The incident took place at approximately 5.15pm on Friday 5th December, at a property on Homington Avenue.
According to investigators, three men wearing balaclavas and gloves entered the house and demanded the two women present show them where they could find their jewellery.
The suspects reportedly left the address at 5.21pm, heading towards Clouds Row.
It is believed they carried an orange bag and a pillowcase containing several stolen items.
Among the items taken were an iPhone, a gold bracelet, a designer handbag, designer clothing, a jewellery box, and car keys.
Det Sgt James Rodrigues said: “This was understandably a frightening experience for those at home at the time, and we are carrying out extensive enquiries to identify those responsible and locate the items stolen.
“We would like to ask anyone living in the Badbury Park estate to please check their CCTV cameras or doorbell cameras, as well as any dash cam footage if travelling through the area between 5pm and 5.30pm on December 5 as you may have inadvertently captured footage which could be relevant to our investigation.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Wiltshire Police.
