Police appeal after stabbing next to rugby club

Police are seeking help from the public following a stabbing in Swindon.

A man in his 20s was reportedly stabbed on a field next to the rugby club in Greenbridge Road yesterday (09/06).

The incident occurred around 3.55pm.

The man was treated in hospital for his injuries and has been discharged.

A police scene was established at the rugby club for further enquiries, which has now been lifted.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the stabbing or saw any altercation to come forward and assist with the investigation.
