Paramedic assaulted in Swindon

It happened around 10.50pm on Friday on Fleet Street

Police are appealing for witnesses after a paramedic was assaulted in Fleet Street on Friday night.

At around 10.50pm, two paramedics were assisting a patient when a woman approached them and hit the victim to the face with a heavy bag.

The female suspect then ran off towards Faringdon Road.

There were several members of the public in the area at the time of the assault and police are urging them to come forward with any information that could help us identify the suspect.
