Man injured in early morning robbery in Swindon alleyway

Witnesses sought after assault near Florence Street Mission Hall

A 20-year-old man was attacked in an early morning robbery in Swindon yesterday morning (28th January).

Wiltshire Police say the incident occurred at around 2am in the alleyway to the side of Florence Street Mission Hall.

The victim was assaulted by two men wearing balaclavas, who stole cash from his pockets and threatened him with weapons.

He suffered multiple injuries, including a broken finger, broken nose, and leg injuries during the assault, and later attended Great Western Hospital for treatment.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the robbery or saw two men in balaclavas acting suspiciously in the area to come forward.
