Man in his 40s dies after car hits tree in Minety
Passenger hospitalised with serious injuries
A man in his 40s has died following a car crash in Minety on 7th August.
The incident occurred around 7.05pm when an Audi RS3 traveling northeast along the B4040, coming from Charlton towards Minety, veered off the road and collided with a tree.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The driver, from Swindon, died at the scene.
A passenger in the vehicle, a man in his 50s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities closed the road while collision investigators conducted enquiries at the scene.
