Man charged with driving offences after Wiltshire hare coursing incident
It's in connection with an incident at Ludgershall in April
A man has been charged with multiple driving offences in relation to an incident of hare coursing near Ludgershall in Wiltshire.
Tommy Frankham, a 21-year-old from Sandy Lane, Bushey, Hertfordshire, is facing charges of dangerous driving, driving without insurance, failing to stop for police, and using a motor vehicle in a way that likely causes danger due to the number of passengers.
Frankham is scheduled to appear before Swindon Magistrates’ Court on 26th August.
Tommy Frankham was one of seven individuals charged over the alleged hare coursing event.
He, along with others, was reportedly engaged in hare coursing with the use of dogs across rural terrain near Ludgershall on 25th April.
According to police reports, officers responded to the situation involving three vehicles.
One of these vehicles was found on the A303 in Hampshire while another was abandoned, both carrying dead hares, lurchers, and tools linked to poaching.
Police have charged seven individuals, including Frankham, for being equipped to search for or pursue hares with dogs, and they are to appear at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court next month.
