'Completely unacceptable'
Acting Inspector Jamie Ball of the Chippenham Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable in our town. The swift and robust response by our officers, resulting in charges and a remand into custody, demonstrates our commitment to dealing firmly with those who commit criminal offences and pose a risk to our community.
“It also highlights the speed and effectiveness of our officers, who work around the clock to keep people safe.
“We also pay tribute to Sergeant Harris and her team of officers and Neighbourhood PCSOs who worked tirelessly through the evening to gather all the necessary evidence to secure charges and a remand for all offences committed.
“This case will automatically be referred to Wiltshire Police Licensing Officer Richard Tottle, who will present details of the offences at the upcoming Pubwatch meeting with all licensees in the town.
