Wiltshire Police have confirmed that a man has appeared in court charged with assisting an offender following a shooting in Gorse Hill last month.

It follows an incident back on June 19th, when they say a man was shot and suffered life changing injuries.

Eight people were arrested shortly after - including Peter Bullock, 51, of Queens Drive, who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

He has now been charged with the lesser offence of assisting an offender.

On Tuesday July 21 Bullock appeared at Swindon Magistrates Court.

He was released on bail and is due to appear at Swindon Crown Court later today (23/07).

Two men; Dylan Anthony, 19, and Kyron Anthony, 20, both of Milton Road, are also due to appear at Swindon Crown Court today charged with attempted murder.
