Man accused of murder in Swindon pleads not guilty

A man accused of the murder of another man in Swindon has pleaded not guilty.

Erdogan Erdogan, 31, a Turkish national of no fixed above, appeared before Bristol Crown Court today (24/09) where he entered a plea of not guilty to charges of murder and possession of a bladed article.

It relates to an incident on Manchester Road in Swindon on 2nd July in which 27-year-old Fatih Zengi was found seriously injured and died as a result of his injuries shortly after.

A trial date has been set for the January 7 2026 and is expected to last two weeks.
