They're urging people who are eligible to get the flu vaccine to protect themselves and others.
A spokesperson for Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust said: "Like many hospitals across the country, we are experiencing a rise in flu admissions, which is common during the winter months.
“Currently, we have 21 patients in our hospital with the flu.
“Flu cases often increase in winter, and in many instances, symptoms can be effectively managed at home with plenty of rest and fluids. If anyone is concerned about their symptoms, we recommend contacting NHS 111 in the first instance.
“We encourage those who are eligible to get the flu vaccine to protect themselves and others during this flu season."
