Police investigate Swindon road rage incident
A man in his 20s has been arrested
Police are investigating reports of road rage in Swindon where a car was reportedly driving dangerously and trying to ram a van off the road on Dorcan Way.
An argument allegedly followed at the Covingham Mini Market between the car and van driver.
A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, possession of a class B drug and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
A Swindon police spokesperson said: "We are investigating an incident of road rage which occurred in Swindon last weekend.
"At approximately 3.30pm on September 13, a white BMW 1 series was travelling along Dorcan Way when it is reported to have been driven dangerously, driving within inches of the van’s bumper, and trying to ram the vehicle off the road.
"The vehicles then both entered the Covingham Mini Market off St Paul’s Drive where a verbal exchange took place."
Swindon police are looking for a group of people that were in the car park during the incident who may have more information.
