Disruption as burst pipe shuts busy Swindon road
Thames Water say they're working hard to put things right
There's disruption in parts of Swindon today after a burst pipe shut Mead Way.
The message to locals is that Thames Water is working to restore supplies, but some may experience a temporary loss.
In a statement, Thames Water said: "We’re aware that some of you in SN5 may have low pressure or no water, this has been caused by a burst pipe on Mead Way.
"We need additional equipment to ensure a safe working area for our teams and members of the public as there is large amount of water on the road. For some of you, your water supply will have returned and we are working hard to restore supply to all of you.
"We're sorry for the impact that this is having to your day."
