Coate Water Splash Park reopens for summer fun
Free facility welcomes visitors until September
Coate Water Splash Park has officially reopened, inviting families to enjoy its facilities free of charge from 11am to 6pm daily until the end of September.
Visitors can also take advantage of the adjacent grass area and new seating around the park, making it an ideal spot for a family day out.
Additionally, the pitch-and-putt and 18-hole crazy golf course are now open for play from Thursday to Tuesday, between 11am and 6pm.
Ahead of the reopening, Councillor Jake Chandler, Deputy Leader of the Council and Cabinet Member for Strategy, Resilience and Green Infrastructure, visited the site to observe its operations.
The splash park closed multiple times last year due to safety reasons.
Loose tiling along the floor were loose or completely detached from the surface, caused hazards for any children playing.
The splash park is located at the Coate Water resevoir, which includes a walk around the large body of water where wildlife can be seen.
