A drug dealer has been jailed for the second time in 12 months after pleading guilty to three counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs in Swindon.

Simon Huckvale, 37, of White Castle, Toothill, was jailed for four years in June last year after being caught with crack cocaine, heroin and cannabis potentially worth £120,000, as well as cuckooing a vulnerable victim.

He was released on licence in October, and on January 2nd this year, officers caught him again in circumstances leading them to suspect he had returned to supplying drugs in Swindon.

Huckvale was searched and found in possession of two bundles of cash. Data previously obtained from his phone showed he had remained active in drug supply, and he was arrested.

A search was then conducted of his home address, which found cocaine, crack cocaine and heroin in his bedroom with a potential street value of up to £14,000.

Multiple piles of cash were found, totalling around £2,500.

Huckvale was charged and remanded into custody. He subsequently pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, cocaine and heroin, and possessing criminal property.

In a hearing at Swindon Crown Court yesterday (25 February), he was jailed for three years and nine months.

A Proceeds of Crime Act hearing will take place later this year.

PC Thomas of the LPTT said: “This is the second time officers from the LPTT have caught and arrested Simon Huckvale for being involved in drug dealing in the last 14 months.

“Huckvale was only released from HMP in October 2025 – he has shown a complete disregard for his early release from prison and immediately returned to his criminality.

“From speaking to members of the public, we hear that Huckvale’s second arrest has had a continued significant impact on the supply of drugs within the community.

“We will continue to actively seek out those within the community who are looking to cause harm to vulnerable people to enable their drug dealing and criminal activities, and we will continue to target drug suppliers like Huckvale to make our town safer for all.”
