Change to Swindon bus service
It involves Route 8
Stagecoach says from Sunday 28 June 2026, there will be a change to Service 8 in Swindon.
A recent timetable adjustment was introduced, to help improve punctuality on the service.
The company said: "Unfortunately, this has not delivered the improvements we had hoped for.
"To help provide a more reliable service, Route 8 will now terminate at Stratton.
"Buses will run as normal between Swindon Town Centre and The Crown, Lower Stratton.
"For journeys to Greenbridge, customers can continue their journey by changing onto Service 7 at The Crown, Lower Stratton.
"We appreciate this may affect some journeys, but this change is intended to improve reliability and provide a more consistent service overall.
"Thank you for your understanding."
