Billy & Louie announced as newest patrons of Swindon and Wiltshire Pride
“We are incredibly honoured," say the duo
Swindon & Wiltshire Pride say they are 'delighted' to announce Billy & Louie, the acclaimed twin vocal duo and finalists on ITV’s The Voice, have been appointed as the charity’s newest patrons.
They become the organisation’s second set of patrons, following the appointment of Bobbi Pickard.
Billy & Louie have been strong and visible supporters of Swindon & Wiltshire Pride for several years.
They have been billed as performers at the event, most recently in 2025, where their appearance on the Main Stage was highlighted in the charity’s entertainment lineup.
The duo has increased their visibility at Pride celebrations nationwide, performing at events in Oxford, Southampton and Gloucester.
Billy & Louie said on the announcement: “We are incredibly honoured to become patrons of Swindon & Wiltshire Pride.
"This event has been a huge part of our journey, and the love we’ve received from our hometown community means the world to us.
"Standing on that stage over the years and feeling the energy, pride, and joy from the crowd has been unforgettable.
"We’re excited to give back and support a charity that champions inclusion, celebration, and being unapologetically yourself.”
Paul Stewart, Chair of Swindon and Wiltshire Pride, added: “We are thrilled to welcome Billy & Louie as our newest patrons. Their long‑standing support for Swindon & Wiltshire Pride, their commitment to uplifting the LGBTQIA+ community, and the positive energy they bring to every performance make them fantastic ambassadors for our charity.
“They have inspired so many people, not only through their music but through their message of authenticity and unity. We’re proud to have them represent us as we look ahead to Pride 2026."
This year’s Swindon & Wiltshire Pride celebration will take place on Saturday 15 August 2026 at GWR Park in Swindon.
