The army has joined searches for a soldier, who has gone missing in Tidworth.
Wiltshire Police is urging anyone who sees 30-year-old Alex to call 999.
Sergeant Gareth Brooks from the Force has made an emotional plea to Alex, saying that they need to know that he's safe.
The serving soldier was last seen leaving the army camp in Tidworth at around midday on Sunday.
In their urgent appeal, search teams looking to find Alex - who has been reported missing from Perham Down - are directly appealing for him to make contact.
Sgt Gareth Brooks said: “Alex, we need to know that you are safe. Please call 101 and ask to be put through to me directly. I’m here to listen and I can give you the time you need to talk things through.
“There are many people, who care about you and they need to know that you are OK.”
Alex, a serving soldier, is described as around 5ft 7ins tall, athletic, with mousy brown hair and a beard. He is thought to have been wearing a light coloured t-shirt and black/grey trousers.
