Appeal to trace driver following serious A342 crash

Police investigating a serious crash on the A342 in Wiltshire are looking to trace the driver of a particular car.

They're hoping the person behind the wheel of a small, white car (pictured) might have information about the collision at Stert at around 11.45am on Thursday last week (9th January).

The head-on crash involved the Urchfont community minibus and a van from Heritage Farm Foods.

Eleven people, aged between their 50s and 90s, were taken to hospital - some with serious injuries.

Officers say the car they're looking to trace was travelling south on the A342 near Wedhampton shortly before the collision.

It's believed to be a Seat Leon, and police haven't been able to make out the number plate.
