Parents and carers of SEND students in Wiltshire are being given an opportunity to learn more about support on offer for those preparing to move schools this year.

A webinar for pupils moving into secondary or post-16 education is being held on 20th May at 6pm.

The Wiltshire Council-hosted session aims to provide advice on preparing students through an important time, as well as

where to find support if needed, and how schools can help ensure child and young people feel confident and ready for the next step in their education.

Those wanting to attend are asked to use the Moving up in School webinar survey, where questions can also be submitted until 5pm on 19th May. Questions sent in after that time won't be answered during the session.

Kathryn Davis, Director Education and Skills said: "We understand that moving up in school can raise many questions and concerns for families. We are inviting parents and carers of children and young people with SEND to join our webinar to hear about the support available to help children and young people navigate this important milestone.

"The session will also offer valuable insights for how parents and carers can play a key role in helping them during this time of change."
