28-year-old man arrested after single-vehicle collision in Swindon

Police have confirmed there were no reported injuries.

A man has been arrested after a single-vehicle collision in Swindon.

Wiltshire Police received a report of the collision at 4:30am today (25 June) and say he driver of the vehicle was not at the scene.

The force has confirmed there were no reported injuries.

After enquiries by officers a 28-year-old man was arrested at his home address on suspicion of failing to report a road traffic collision and also on suspicion of drink or drug driving.

The man was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.

Police are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
