12-year-old boy injured after reported assault in Swindon Designer Outlet play park

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward

Police are investigating after a 12-year-old boy was reportedly assaulted at a play park near the Swindon Designer Outlet village.

It happened at around 1:45pm yesterday (10th May) and police say the boy sustained injuries to his face after allegedly being assaulted by a group of boys.

It's believed the incident happened close to the slide in the play area.

Police are urging anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the incident to contact them.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: " We are appealing for witnesses following reports of an assault at the play park by the main entrance to the Swindon Designer Outlet Village."
