Weather warning issued as Sussex braces for Storm Benjamin
A yellow warning comes into place today
A yellow weather warning covering Sussex has been issued, as the county braces for Storm Benjamin.
Strong winds and heavy rain are expected across the South East, according to the Met Office.
The warning remains in place from 12am this morning, until 9pm tonight.
It means we can expect changes to road conditions, including spray and flooding, which could increase the risk of accidents and up journey times.
The warning also means public transport could be affected.
We're advised to check road conditions and double checking any train or bus timetables before setting off on any journeys.
On it's website, the Met Office explained: "In association with the rain, conditions are expected to turn windy with gales, initially along south-eastern coasts, but more widely across southern Britain during Thursday daytime."
