Police investigation underway after fatal crash in Worthing
A woman in her 80s has died following a crash in Worthing.
The collision happened at around 1:35pm on Tuesday (12 May) on the A2032 and involved a BMW and a silver Ford Focus Estate.
The woman was a passenger in the BMW and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Authorities promptly informed her next of kin.
A police investigation is now underway, with a 21-year-old man driving the Ford Focus arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Witnesses are urged to come forward with any information that may assist the investigation.
