Police say van hit a 75-year-old pedestrian on Tuesday afternoon

Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision in Walberton, Arundel.

Emergency services responded to a collision involving a delivery van and a pedestrian in Church Lane, just before 2.30pm on Tuesday (January 7).

The pedestrian, a 75-year-old woman, was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.

The van, a Fiat Ducato, was being driven by a 38-year-old man. He was unhurt.
