Police launch an investigation after a 17-year-old is stabbed in Brighton
Detectives appeal for information following Kingsway and Western Road incident
Police are appealing for witnesses following the stabbing of a 17-year-old boy in Brighton.
The incident happened between Kingsway and Western Road at around 5:10pm on Saturday.
The victim was taken to hospital with injuries that are not serious or life-threatening.
Detective Inspector Jenny Pietersen urges anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
The area was reportedly busy at the time, and police are particularly interested in mobile phone, dashcam, or CCTV footage that could assist their investigation.
Neighbourhood policing teams are present in the city, conducting enquiries to support the investigation.
